as the days go by and the dates get closer, I'm starting to feel very insecure about my recital. I am feel like giving up and just putting away what i have done. feel like i cannot make it. Watching wonderful performers like Yo-yo Ma, Cecilia Bartoli, Valentina Lisista, Vladimir Feltsmen etc, make you feel really small in this vast musical world. It is a wonder how they carry the music with such meaning and life. Something that is so hard to do yet easily accepted by the ears. How do they do it? Yes i know hard work etc. but there is more. I believe its their passion and love of music that they have that drives them to create miracles on stage. Yes wondrous magic with just notes.

How How how how....

Each time i play i feel insecure more and more. Nothing is going way i want it to. What do I want to express??? I'm still searching for that answer. Some ppl just do it with such great ease and grace. They just have it i guess.

Music is a Language, a language i still do not understand. A language i am learning and trying to understand. Failing along the way....

Recently my emotions have be going on a wild rage. Finding harder and harder to control it. Finding harder to hide it.

Why hide it?

For the safety of others of course. I come across ad a person that does not make sense, dose not have a clue of what is happening. A person that things for himself. Well think what you want, I don't really care. But yes for your safety, and your friendship, i will not let you see my true self. It is only a matter of time before all is over. I think. Or is there more i need to endure.

Why endure something so unpleasant?

For the goodness i gain out of it after the long and painful wait.

Sophisticated, Elegant, Poise, style....you think you are. No no no. I don't think so. You are the number one person i need to get out of my life. cause i have and am still tolerating all the crap and shit you give me. I will wait for when you are at your weakest, i will wait for when you need me the most...at that very moment, i will stab you in the heart and let you bleed, bleed like there is no tomorrow. Ever since that unfaithful day, I have changed my impression of you, I now know who you really are, a true cunning fox in sheep's clothing. I regret your friendship and i will correct that in the most merciless way possible

Behide my smile there is another person, a person that is truly me. Hard to except yes, impossible no. A person that i sometimes let out. A person i let some ppl see.

Am i living a real life Masquerade...Yes I am. aren't we all. We're all in the same party, just that we don't know who is behide which Mask. Judge me all you want, I'll do my best to not show you I'm troubled by it. But do forgive me when i do the same to you.

Hello all,

Well First of all HAppY CHinese NEw YeaR!!!!!!!! Oink Oink!!! gaagaa.

Had a very interesting with a friend recently, well we talked about being in a relationship and getting married and also what a girl might look for in a guy and vice-verse. It was interesting cause , i did not know that she would talk about this kind of thing hahaha. interesting. Well i got a good point of view from a girl of What women Want... ahhahaha like CNN news hee hee.

We came to a conclusion that, either side should except and love the other no matter what, for better or worst, for in sickness and in health, and for Poorer or Richer. hmmm never knew i''ll look at this words like this in my life. i guess i finally did. how did this come about? well it was when i said "As guys we would like to support our wife the best we can. and in doing so we need to get a good job and support here financially and emotionally. basically the guy needs to be earning well and have a good job" and she said "no. not necessary to be earning lots of money. just be happy with your job and support the best you can. cause in the end, it is the love you married for not the money" well said of course. but i guess as guys, we would like to be a sole bread winner of the family. i guess its about integrity and responsibility. hmm. well i guess its the way different sexes think hee hee.

Enjoyed that conversation!!!!

Anyway have be having weird dreams lately. lots of dreams about getting attached and married. scary man. its weird especially when you don't think it will happen anytime soon. hmmm. confused.

Exams are nearing and giving it all i got for the final push to freedom. Cherishing every moment spent with my wonderful classmates, schoolmates and the Vogues.... i will truly be very upset to see all of them go. 3 years of friendship, hardship, laughter, sadness, anger, joy, love, and most of all Good food with even Greater Company.... :( :(

Thursday, February 15, 2007 Mozart and more Mozart!!!

Everytime I play Mozart, I never fail to fall in love with his music. So simple yet complex at the same time. I played the Symphony no.40 in g minor yesterday with my school orchestra. Hmm not too good but was ok la. the horn part are tough no doubt. I remember saying "I feel like dying when i play this piece man!!!!" hahahaa well i did not but i liked the piee more and more now. so beautiful and so full of emotions man. I love Mozart!!!! hmm wonder if i can get to play another Mozart symphony soon hee hee. its hard and tough work but the music is rewarding...that matters the most.

Well very busy at school....forgive me if i have neglected anyone. i'll pay back the time when i'm more free.

Feeling weird recently...actually for a long time. I got this weird feeling about something...call it Y. something in the back of my mind tells me that Y is happening but part of me denies it. confused really. don't want to jump to conclusion so as to avoid embarresment. hmmm...will think about it. hahhaa

Hello,

well as you all know it has been a very long time since i updated my blog. well the main reason is I've been busy with school, rehearsals after rehearsals...just driving me up the wall man.

Hmm busy...busy with? yes that is what i ask myself. some days you feel so shag tired and when you look back on the day and ask yourself, "What did I do today?" and you realise the answer is....Nothing... absolutely nothing you did that day. Well work is building up assignments are due soon, exams are nearing, recital is just around the corner. To make things worst, there are unbelievable rehearsals. yes lots of them. Trying to deal with it one at a time. Sad, this will be my last Wind band and Orchestra concert in My School. glad and also sad in a way.

Was walking along the corridors one morning and realise, i will miss My School alot. in a few weeks i will be out of school and into a big and scary world of music.

Yes i will miss my school, The noisy com lab, the noisy corridors, weird teachers, mood swings, bubbly teachers, lousy planning of time-table, broken doors, spoilt printers, Early morning chiong-ing of homework, late class arrivals, tricking aunty Clare of homework and dates, countless rehearsals, late night com lab homework sessions, late bus rides home....etc...

yup i can go on. I am learning to cherish these moments, moments that were first seemed as irritating and stupid and hopeless becomes things that made me feel comfortable in School.

well i shall not dwell on this so much now wait i emo emo ah.... sigh. back to school work.

Trying my hand at composing a concerto ahahhaaa difficult man. well we'll see how it goes hahaha...

Had my POTO auditions today, OK not too bad hope i get it. tomorrow is AYO auditions....Hope I'll get that too.... well we'll see.
