went to the Wang Jian concert last night. quite disappointing really. I was truly expecting more from Wang Jian. Sasdly he did not match up to his write up in the program. He started the Elgar we great passion and energy but for some reason it died of slwoly and at the end it was just a normal performance with little excitment. No offfence but i hated the sound of his cello.

well to balance things out, i loved the Dvorak's 8th symphony by the SSO. it was truly beautiful and i must say the strings sounded better then usual. loved it alot and it made me thing of my days as a musician. i know it was not very long ago but still having been out of the "scene" for about 3+ months now, i'm starting to miss music alot. i feel drifted at times. do hope i get in to band and then i can regain my musician life again man.

when i'm in PARADISE, i often thing about my teacher and what advice he would give me when i made a mistake or weird interpretation. During the concert i kept on thinking about the days in the Academy having lesson and all the funny phrases he would use to discribe things and then Piggy and I would laugh along with Leo too. hee hee. the days of student life man. blissful.

I will start lessons as soon as i can man.

Love staying in PARADISE these days man. I know some of you might thing i'm crazy and all but i'm serious. i find it weird too. it actually makes me sick to go back home at times. but i guess its the part about seeing my mum, eating home-cooked food and playing my horn that draws me home really.

well there is nothing for me to update really. just that i am getting slimmer and fitter and i am happy about that. haha.

been missing my Music life alot. Rehearsals, desk partners, concerts, concert feelings, conductors, gossiping during rehearsals etc. you the kind of things we musicians do. As each day pass i feel like i'm am being pulled away from my passion. Hope that does not pull me away for good. I miss playing in chamber groups and large orchestras. i miss the feeling of great chord progressions, wonderful melodies, harmony etc. I never knew i will reach a point where by i would long for it. 3 more months and it will all ge better...i hope.

well i updated the pics and vids on the right hand side of this page. do enjoy. I will find the time to update a proper entry. Till then take care and keep in touch
