Sunday, July 29, 2007 kena guard duty. ahahah

well this was pretty cock up i would say. was suppose to "land" on Friday night but then kena Guard duty. I had mixed feelings about it actually. i was excited and partly uphappy as the rest got to sail home. anyway the Guard duty went well. was dame sleepy and my feet were aching like mad man. haha. oh well it was a good experience for me. good thing was nothing strange happened although were very dark and eerie places, dogs, snails mating, annoying flies....hahhaa etc. oh well.

went back to school yesterday to see my friends and also practice abit. i must say the walls of the school felt dead and lifeless. sad actually. when i was still schooling the life of the school was very high, corridors bustling with musicians of all kind, crazy lecturers, irritating students, ppl breaking rules, ppl making music. yes the walls then had life...it had music embedded in them. sad actually. i was happy yo hear that my Juniors had improve alot and are very excited to improve and make better music. good good. all the best to them.

truly miss the days in school man. it is one of those things that, when you are going through it, you feel sick but when its over, you miss it.

oh well its over now

went to Tiong Bahru Market for breakfast with Kitty. ahhaa Hot Date!!!! it was nice to have chui kueh (hmm not sure of the spelling), peanut pancake, White fungus and longan dessert and hot Holicks on a cold Sunday morning. hahaa was fun talking and eating. hee hee. will post pics next week. but here's last weeks pics.

this week was a tough one. had a new introduction of a rifle. and with came lots of drills and responsibilities. sian. had fun but it was short lived when i developed a sharp pain in my knee which did not allow to perform as well. oh well.

starting to make good friends in there but none can be compared to the ones i already have on "Mainland". I finally understand what ppl say when musicians are one of a kind and musicians can only mix with musicians. haha oh well... not that that is a problem for me.

Starting to notice alot a werid characters in there. ppl that are power hungry and suck up all the time. ppl who think they know everyting and ppl who think that others are more stupid then them. sigh. i'll just stick to my in-camp click and hope i can pull through safely and successfully.

learning the ways of a regimental life slowly and coping with all the aspects i disagree with. its difficult but i do try.

met up with kitty and ali and jerry yesterday for dinner. was nice to see the girls after so long. brought me back to the days when we were in school and all the luch breaks we had together. oh well. hope we keep in contact for as long as possible.

Well don't know what it means. too bad hahaha. each time as the time gets closer to going back "In" my stomach fills with butterflies. The feeling sucks but i guess it is what every man in my wonderful country needs to go through.

What i did this weekend. went out with dil for coffee at TCC then with to TPCC concert, not bad finally some good music. compared to the ones i hear on that island. haha. Today went to celebrate Miss Vogue's 21st year of existence. hahaha so sad.... spend alot of money man this weekend. ok next week i am going to stay at home and rot. ahahhaa. jkjk. atleast i ate something other then Chicken. I HATE CHICKEN!!!!!! hahaha oh well have to go back to P.A.R.A.D.I.S.E soon so i'll keep it short.

Sprain my back last week and as a result have not done much exercise yet. so sad. feel so dame fat. hahahahaa. oh well this week will be better.

shouting most of the time...

horrible weather...
hate the afternoons...

seeing ppl in green everywhere i turn...ewwww
food still sucks...the tot of it makes me feel sick...
i hate my buddy...
my roommates are not bad...
made some good friends...only time will tell if they are friends i would keep in my life after all this...

Miss being a musician...

It will all be over soon.
