Well yesterday was my 21st Birthday. i woke up feeling sick and did not feel like going to school. i felt that being 21 is not that great but instead only brings on more responsibilities. Like Daniel was saying..."ha ha 21...cannoot be a small boy anymore ha ha..i am still young.." hmmm....to some extend that is so true. but then a again i am always young at heart.

anyway so i went to school yesterday and to my surprise, the VoGue VoGue gang had a surprise party for me...like so dame touching hee hee. THANX GUYS....n GALS!!!!!!!! well i was not able to get picturse of the whole event cause Daniel was late.....AS USUAL!!!!!...but here are pics of what i got. hee hee

Hello...

well went for SNYO and boy was it a tension house man. well i won't go into detail cause it s quite sensitive. basically Wei Ling our principal clarinettist stood up for the whole wind section. she was reasoning out with LSL about the volume between the winds and strings and were dicussing ways to inprove. although it is a simple topic, there was alot of tension and both LSL and weiling cried during the reheasal. i feel proud of wei ling and am very thankful that she stood by her principals and fought for a better orchestra. THANKS WEI LING!!!!! yup thats all for now. sorry i can't disclose the details too much..i might get into alot of trouble.

Crazy week....

Hello peeps....

well sorry the late update. this week (20 feb-24th feb) has been really long and tiring. it has stressed sopme of us out but all is fine....for now. hee hee. well...

Monday....

had band practice at 2pm-4pm...boring....
then at night had more band practice.....more boring

Tueday.....

had harmony lec with karen...i pity her...when she was talking like no one listening. then had my horn lesson which was not good at all. then reheased my piece for composition exam on wednesday. was a good reheasal.

Wednesday....

had aural class and mr lim TH had the impression that I was the only one that did not do y homework..hahahaha but when he asked the rest of the class ..ahhaa no one gave a good answer and all of them did not do their homework. then had platform which was so bad..only liyang and ting ting performed well. the rest were like so half hearted. then had compo exam which went...ok ok only. then at night had band concert and i felt so tired that day....

Thursday....

went for analysis tutorial and decided on our group project. then had teh and mee goreng. then went to harmony tutoarial. brass class was a drag ans the quitet reheasal was like so no happening....-_-....then had a great history lecture with Robert Casteels on Mozart's Cosi fan tutte. cool opera man.....he was right...sex sells. then at nighht had SNYO with mr/ lenard Tan..it was fun and the strings finally realised that there was a wind section sitting behind them. hahahahahahahhahahhahahaa

Friday......had chamber choir and miss tham was pissed because the concert change of dat clashed with the SNYO concert and both me and daniel cannot perform. not sure what will happen next. then had lunch and history tutorial. at 3pm went to reheas Miss vogue's piece with marcus.was good i would say. then the Miss vogue's compo exam..we performed well i think...keeping in mind that we only like reheaed for like 4 times. yup. then we Me Miss vogue and pignix went to have a celebration dinner to make the end of this tiring week,.

we went to Keeny Roger's for a luscious dinner and we were like bitching laughing and we were dame full man. then went to walk walk and put a lazer msg at the suntec foutain. then had ice cream at the esplande park hee hee cool right. was fun.

anyway like to say thanks to Marcus for playing my piece...don worry me and Miss vogue will treat you soon. hahahaha.

Hello....

well basically I HATE BERNARD!!!!!!!ahhahahaa that a fact. anyway i have a new new number so get it from me hee hee. anyway this is week will be a very long and tiring week.

having band reheasals and concert on Wednesday and my composiiton exam on wednesday too. then SNYO on thursday and friday playing for my Ali's compo and Miss Vogue's piece.

the thing i look forward to is the CHOCOLATE buffet with the Masqurade Trio hee he can't wait. hope Pignix found the details hee hee.

anyway school has been fun and ok so far. well not really, somone in school "XXXXXX" is like so attitude and he/she thinks that he/she is so diva and like a great player and a person that does not make mistakes. ...WELL!!!!!!!!!ahhahahahahahahahhaaa he/she is a total BITCH!!!!!!!!!!!! watch your back "XXXXXX"

hello ppl

today was a very nice day at SNYO. well at first i did not want to go for rehearsal. like felt so un i terested ahhaa. so finally i pulled myself all the way to Bukit Timah. anyway we started rehearsal and all was fine. well had "string sectionals" again hahaa. anyway stefani got like scolded just because mr Lim tot she was complainif of his teaching methods. well that is just over sensitive of Mr LSL.

then we did Brahms and there was this part in the music where there were alot of uncomfotablr rhythms. so Mr LSL asked the Horns, clarinet, violas, cellos and basses to play. and it always nerver seems to be correct. then when he asked just the violas to play. BOOM!!!!!!!!!!! the mistake was from them ahhahahahahhaa finally, his favorite section threw his name down hahahahhaaa.

yup anyway to Marcus: your poin tof view and mine are totally different...so no point going on dicussing ok hee hee :) anyway i do wich you the best for the AYO auditions...and thanks for playing for my composition. hee hee .

Hey peeps...

heres the update... well today was a very long day. had History lec by Dr. Mannhart. as usual his lectures were interesting. well today i heard a soprano trio by Mozart that was so beautiful man. and it was like twice as difficult as the Queen of the Night Aria from the Magic Flute. well for starters the soprano was like singing in really high thrids and the look from Nei-na-ma-yah's face tells it all...it was really high and the best part...it was in tune and beautiful.

then at 11am had an early Lunch with clara, ali Nei-na-ma-yah, and Kevin. hee hee had chicken rice...-_- haahhaa

then had Harmony Tut which was like so slack lah. i mean not to say that it was easy or anything, but rather this is like the first two weeks since we had homework..hahahahhaaYEAH YEAH!!!!!!! but both pignix and I were like saying that "we pay $2000 for school fees and learn so little " hahahahahahhahaa

then had Brass class at 2 and quintet reheasal at 3pm. then had history lec at 4pm and we like switched seats for the first time with each other and it was madness man. i mean both clara an i were feeling sleepy, kitty was going mad, ali, crazy...nei-ne-ma-yah...quiet...suprisingly ahhahahaa and royce was sleeping asusual, JC became Hatsumomo the bitchy Geisha, Piggy...-_- and kevin still quite hahahahhaaa

then had SNYO at 7-9 so boring and get this,,LSL said that he wants to add more Strings hahahahahahhahahahhhahaa weiling is going to flip man...the strings are like so loud already lah but thanks fully intune unlike a certain other orcheatra. hahahahahaha

Hey...

Well first of all Happy V day to all. anyway this entry is for last night caus ei did not have time to update yesterday. anyway yesterday was a cool day in a way. firstn had Harmony lec. and Pignix bought for the VoGue VoGue gang Ferror Rocher (not sur eof the spelling) and for the girls additional ROSES. Then we like had the whole day of man. ppl were giving gifts to everyone like heart shaped balloons, chocolats, small gifts and cards. it was a nice feeling.

last year we had the angel and mortal game to celebrate V day but this year too bad, not many were interested. anyway we did had fun and shared the day with our friends. anyway i got a small box of chocolate from Sophia/....Hee hee THANKS!!!!!!!!! that was really nice.

had lunch at Han's with Clara, Ali, Nei-na-ma-yah, kitty, Leo, Choa xi and Kevin. had alot of good food and laughs too hahaha. then i had PS which was not too bad. my teacher says that i am improving but still need alot alot of work. yup...atleast i am on the right track.

anyway last night i reheased my piece for my composition exam on wednesday 22nd feb. it was ok but i can't expect too much you know. i mean, i am grateful that they play my piece and they have their own stuff to do. hmm..well, we'll just wait and see what happens. i am tempted to compose easier pieces and in some other ppl's words " can you compose something playable" i take that comment as a sign that this person things that the musician i write for can't do it. ahahahaahaa .... if every composer were to write simple pieces, then when will the level of virtuosiyty of a musician or an instrument increase. if i write "kiddy" piece for my musicians then what will they do if one day a super modern difficult piecxe is thrown at them. i take it as i am doing a favour to them.

anyway Marcus said to me that " composer of the previous periods, always consulted their musicians before compoesing. they understood the instrument before atteming to write imopposiblw stuff." well my answer to that is, musicians of that time, to me, were far more virtuosic then the presen day musicians. theyn first of all had time to practice, had time for ensemble and did not complain of difficulty. eeven now some violin concertos are so difficult, some fulte sonates dimed almost impossible to play... and crazy writing for horn piano etc. these are all composers ideas and imagination put on paper for us to read and discover. i think that composition is a reflection of your thoughs and soul. nothing is tooo difficult, it just needs time, practice, and theory. sorry if i may have offened anyone here, which i do not intend to. these are view and i have every right to think. thank you.

Wello....

well yesterday i lost my Hp in the school toilet...-_-...feel dame sian now sia...i went ot o toilet and left my phone in there. and when i went back again later, it was gone. Curse the person who toook it, to death ahahhahahahaaa i mean it.

anyway nothing much has happened recently. i have finshed most of my school work. COmposition, orchestration, history web evealuation. :):) i am so proud of myself. Y....well because i am sort of keeping to my new year's resolution hee he yup.

anyway i had a convertstion with marcus like twodays back. we talked about what we were going to do after everything. in other words, what our life plans are. especially in music. well we concluded that, doing music is a very indetermined future. but then why do we do it?

well my answer is, Music is an art and a language that only thise who study it understand. we are doing somthing special that other people have done and gone trough centuries ago. so wht makes last time differnet from now. well first and foremost our coountry does not surpport thr arts fully let alone music. sure they bulid a "durian" on the river, have an arts school, a music conservartory without the conutry's name on it....but what is this all for. i think that this is just publicity to the world that "oh singapore is an art nation" sorry my dear country..but no ...this is just publicity. there are so many struggling musician in this country and many, given the first chance, will leave this country. staying here to further our passion i hopless. well this is just my opinion, i don't expect others to agree.

anywayi feel that the artr that i am doing is for the world of other musican in the future.

I want to leave this country man...ASAP!!!!!!!!!!

Hello peeps...
well this will be an update for the past few days...on Wed...had the orchestra performance at school and i tot it was one of NAFA orchestra's better performances...but still not good really. then Nei-na-ma-yah came back after like 3 months hee hee. well he bought for all of us a pen and key chain and for certain others hair clips and ruler hee hee funny gifts but the thought that counts THANKS!!!!

THursday...had a long day at school...morning had MOA lecture which was like so Zzzzzz...but still interesting cause Clara came like 50 min late hahahaha and was like bickering...then we had group work to analys Brahms 3rd Symphony... hee hee it was fun actually hgahaha while Ali was doing the work me and clara was like gossiping about Clare wick Schumann having an Affair with Brahms!!!!!! OH MY GOD!!!!!! SCANDAL ...Romantic period version ahhahahaha yup. then had orchestra performance AGAIN for the NAFA open house... later in the day i had to perform for brass class and it was like a flop...all thnakjs to my "dear" friend Lau Li...hmm hmm what is wrong with her man...she totally told maggie teacher that i could perform this week but she knoew that i was not prepared!!!!!! i mean would it hurt to just SHUT YOUR DAME FAT HOLE IN YOUR FACE?!?!?!?!?!?! hmm well thats her...always acting as the innocent one so that she can get attention... anwyay then had histoiry lectuer which was like....totlly fun with all the bitching between Dr. Kan and the first two rows ahahahaha we won of course hhaa then watched a video on vivaldi's opera arias. the video was dame nice and most of us agreed that the singer, cecillia batoly sang in a way that will make you feel tha music...SO COOL!!!!! then at night had SNYO rehearsal not bad but i still need to polish up my part.

Friday.... had chamber choir at 11 but i left at 1145 cause need to performa ...AGAIN for the NAFA open house ...-_-... then went to lunch st DANIEL'S favourite place Foutun Centre...everythime must follow where he wants to eat....anyway nothing wrong about that....then went history tutaorial at 2pm and clarea fogot again that we have tutaorial at 2 and tot it was at 3pm hahahahaa sigh...age is catching up on him hee hee ahhahahaha then we rehearsed daniels composition hee hee was funny especially the part where Miss Vogue suddenly scream in the music..had a good effect ahahahha . then was Composition and Orchestration lecture...and as usual was so funny ahahhahahaa and we sang and screamed crack jokes none stop hee hee was fun.

anyway that night had dinner with marcus and was talking baout the muscians life and how difficult it was...it was nice chatting with him...well i'll update oin that in a different entry cause this one is too long and anyway i need to go now to ......yup you guessed it...PERFORM FOR NAFA Open house...

hello...
well today was not very intersting day.

went to school at 11 and had Harmony at 1130. not sure if i was high or not but i was and was like craking jokes with Mr Yap (harmony teacher). then ended class earliy at 1230 instead of 1pm hee hee. had lunch with Clara,J, Miss Vogue, Pignix, Ali and Royce.

then went to like do practice with Miss Vogue then had PS at 4pm. well today Mr han was pleased with our performance. he actually said that "If i were to here a recording of the both of you, i would think that the Pianist is a boy and the horn player is a girl" ...-_- i was like..WHAT!!!!!!!! hee hee never mind i have a cool pianist hee hee we are a VoguE Duo hahahhahahaa got reputation to uphold ok hee hee.

anyway then had composition tutorial and i had not finish my poem and so did not present. then at 615, Pignix, Miss Vogue, clara and I went to Esplanade to get some opera materials for our essays and also surpport our class mate Kitty. cause she was singing at the waterfront. hee hee you go kitty!!!!! hahahaa then the rest went home and now i am here blogging and just finish watching, Rossini's The Barber of Seville. cool opera.

i realised that opera is quite fun and it is like so me...DRAMATIC ahahhahahahhahahaaha and so is my classmates haahahhahaa although they will be dening right now ahhahahahaa we are all dramatic ppl and also Emo Emo ppl ahhahahahaa

Hey ppl,
well this is like 3rd official entry. ok today at school was like so boring. had orchestra from 11am-1pm and then Dr. Casteels was like againb disappointed by the orchestra ahhahaa whats new man he ehee. then had rehearsal with Miss Vogue, not bad today i would say. manage to clear some stuff and sounds ok ok for 3 rehearsals hee hee.well our aim is to like fake it through during the brass class performance on thursday. hee hee. then had band form 2pm-4pm..as usual..SO BORING.,................................................................... hahahahhaaa nothing new...yet again. well Raja was like so pissed and like was not interested in rehearsing us ahahhahahaa. then watched commuter cnoncert at 630pm then had orchestra from 8pm-10pm.

well today me and my friend J realised that this world has jokers. and alot of them i would say. J discovered that he had a section in the orchestra.anyway to J, "have fun with your "Discovery of the human mind hahahahahahaa"

it was quite tiring today i would say but then again, i got mysalf into this hee hee. anyway schools ok and everythingelse is fine. anyway thats all for now. anywya DANIEL IS SO IRRITATING hee hee JKJK.
