Yes it has been a long time since i blogged. Well mainly cause i was busy with Blk 13 and other musical projects, namely, TPO concert, MARIS alumni competitions and Conducting Masterclass. well i have pix for all but have no time to upload you see.
25th July-Conducting masterclass was ok. not very fun but i did learn alot from Bostock. just by watching and listening. I see music in a different sort of way now. i try to see it from the conductor's point of view. It is amazing how a conductor can make a musical group sound good or bad. nothing much about this. The concert was good but the Audience sucked as usual..
26th July- Maris SIBF competition... WE WON THE TOP FOR THE OPEN DIVISION!!!! congrates. it has been a long two months of rushing from work to Maris and running through the pieces over and over again. I was glad to have my close friends there with me, it made me feel like i was back in SNYO again. anyway my section was good, not say fantastic but can pull through. thanks to leon especially. I was proud of my two ex-students who played too. Congrates once again.
27th July-TPO concert. It was a good concert. can't believe i played through three symphonies. A personal archievment. One thing i have to admit, no matter how TPO sounds or is, the fact is i like playing there. It is there that i really enjoy the music. learning from Lim Yau and his musical approach learning from others in my section and everyone there just to make and enjoy music. Isn't that what music should be... enjoyed. not dreaded. can't wait for the mext project man..yeah!!!!

It is high time that some ppl live up to the "Professional musician" status and start behaving like one. The group can only improve as fast as the slowest player... pls do something.

I have not been myself lately. feeling fucked up and stressed over many stuff. not really work related. I am lost in my mind and lost in my soul. I worried that history is going to repeat itself. something i don't want to go through again yet i long for it... yes i long for love and the other half.
